Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. Along with BJJ She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. In the age of 18 years old, Ladd had her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd gained confidence after her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all during the first round. She then went back to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's records as a professional were marred. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by one-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her fight in the third round via TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last bout for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina and ground-and-pounded her for a second-round TKO victory. Her dominance continued and she won a much more convincing victory when she fought Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. She also received the reward for her performance on the night. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd's win was a majority victory, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended the streak of winning. After a short break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
